Natives of Lincoln County, Rich and I grew up on farms and ranches south of Limon and Hugo. We grew to love and appreciate the vast prairie sunrises, sunsets, and the rural hospitality that abounds. Neighbors and friends helping one another for the common good was and continues to be a way of life. Though we grew up only 25 miles apart we didn't know each other until a shared interest in Rodeo brought us together. We dated after high school and were married in 1977. Soon we would own our own small farm/ranch and found ourselves raising 3 children, cattle, wheat and feed grains. We loved sharing our passion for rodeo and helped with local youth activities that our kids were involved in.
